The Steelers offseason is now underway. So, it’s time to look at who the free agents are. This is going to be a big free agent class for them. They several key players that are free agents including QB Justin Fields, RB Najee Harris, RB Jaylen Warren, and CB Donte Jackson.
The Steelers projected Cap Space for the 2025 offseason so far is $52.353M.
The Steelers have started their offseason signings this week after another one and done playoff appearance. They have brought back a couple players that have spent time on their practice squad this season. Among them are RB Aaron Shampklin and OT Dylan Cook. They also signed LB Julius Welschoff.
It’s that time of the year again, where the senior bowl accepted invites are being announced. So far, they have thirty-seven players already accept an invite.
Among the players that have accepted an invite is WR Jayden Higgins (Iowa State) and OL Wyatt Milum (West Virginia).

So, week 3 is completed. There are 5 unbeatens still in the league. I have been racking my brain with this week’s power rankings. There is quite a bit of moving.
The Steelers have officially trimmed their roster to the initial 53-players. A few notable players they released are Rodney Williams, Dex Fitzpatrick, Jonathan Ward, John Rhys Plumlee, and Thomas Graham.
The Steelers also placed five players on the Reserve Lists.
It was a slow day for workout around the NFL. Only seventeen players were brought in for a workout, but three players have been signed following their workout.
