Another crazy week in the NFL, just when you think you figured it out. Nope, everything changes. Who would have thought the Steelers would have beaten the Ravens the way they looked against the Texans.
It was amazing how bad the Cowboys played against the 49ers. I actually thought it might be an interesting game. Turned out it wasn’t.
The Steelers and Ravens are both coming into this game pretty beat up. And this week is not going to change that.
The Steelers are coming into this game with five starters being ruled out. And the Ravens are finally getting wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr making his debut.
The Steelers season hasn’t been going the way we all thought it would be following the impressive pre-season showing they had. Matt Canada has gone back to his old ways of play calling. The defense has been struggling to stop the pass and being consistent in stopping the run.
This is going to be a big game for the offense to somehow bounce back to how they were looking during the pre-season. Or else this is going to be along rest of the season.
Rookie OT Broderick Jones is going to be making his first start today. This is looking to be a good team for him to go up against, since they don’t have a clear cut stand out pass rusher.
The running backs are going on their game today in pass blocking. The Ravens like to bring the blitz with their secondary players. Safety Kyle Hamilton is their leader in sacks with three, even though they all came in one game. But that is going to something to look for.
It’s hard to believe were already in week 5 five of the NFL season. So, it’s time to start looking forward to the NFL Draft, for some fan bases. So here is the first look at the 2024 draft order.

I’ll be updating the draft order again after week eight.
The Steelers have made a few moves to their practice squad over the past two days.
They have signed WR Denzel Mims, WR Dez Fitzpatrick, TE Naoh Gindorff, and former Lions OT Obinna Eze to the squad. To make room for them they released RB Greg Bell, WR Jalen Camp, and WR Jacob Copeland from the squad.
They also promoted TE Rodney Williams to the active roster, with TE Pat Freiermuth out for at least two-three weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Bengals announced Tuesday morning a couple of moves to their practice squad. They have signed WR Kendric Pryor to the squad and released QB Reid Sennitt.
The Texans are coming into this game more beat up than the Steelers, but Pittsburgh has more key injuries. The Texans are missing a great player in OT Laremy Tunsil.
