It was awesome having Football back again. But now it’s more important for players to be brought in for workout outs and visits since there were a few injuries that happened on over the weekend.
Of the fifteen players that either had a workout or a visit only one got signed to a Practice Squad.
For the first time in eighteen seasons the steelers are taking on the defending AFC North Campions without Ben Roethlisberger on the Roster. The Bengals are coming off of a super bowl season.
Joe Burrow and the Bengals are looking to repeat. But this retooled Steelers team is looking to show them why they are still the King of the North, and why the North runs though Pittsburgh.
TJ Watt and the boys are looking to show Joe Burrow just how physical this game is, and always will be.
This a good week to get a good look at some of the Quarterback prospects for the 2023 NFL Draft. Four of the top ten Quarterbacks are going against some good defenses.
Some of the players I really want to get a better look at this week are DL Calijah Kancy (Pittsburgh), QB Hendon Hooker (Tennessee), Edge Will McDonald (Iowa State), and Safety Demani Richardson.
This week’s games are still a lot of the power five schools’ playing lower division schools or a non-power five school. But there are some games that are going to be good matchups. And that will show be some good game film for the 2023 NFL Draft Prospects.
It always slows down the closer you get to Sunday for workouts. The past two days have only had twenty-five tryouts and four visits. Out of this group only on player got signed to a Practice Squad.

It was a busy day for tryouts around the league. Thirty-two players had tryout with two players getting visits. Among those players four were signed to Practice Squads.
Something to remember is how important these workouts are for players, even if they don’t get a contract right away. The more the more type they get out there better. These workouts are even more important for the teams, it helps there pro scouting department to be able to put a short list together for the Coaches and GM to be able to sign a player if an injury happens or poor output from a position group.
I have tried to find games that people from many regions of the country will enjoy watching. Each week I will venture to try and find the games that will be the most entertaining.
Each week we will post several games that will be worth watching and have meaning in the standings. So, the 1st week will most likely be the hardest to pick meaningful games.
