The Bengals announced Tuesday morning a couple of moves to their practice squad. They have signed WR Kendric Pryor to the squad and released QB Reid Sennitt.
The Steelers look to continue to keep their win streak going in Houston, with back-to-back wins on the road. The Texans are not a team to think is going to be an easy win. Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has picked up what it takes to an NFL quarterback quickly.
This is also a good game to see an expanded role for second year running back Jaylen Warren, who has been impressive in both the run and pass game. This is also a good game to for the young defensive players to get some good reps.
The Steelers made a few practice squad moves Tuesday. They signed WR Jacob Copeland to the unit and released RB Greg Bell and CB Luq Barcoo from the squad.
They also signed Center Ryan McCollum to the squad Wednesday morning.
The Steelers host nine players for a either a workout or visit Tuesday. Among those players they brought in former Texans WR Isaiah Coulter for a workout.
So far out of this group they signed WR Jacob Copeland to their Practice Squad.
Steelers Football is finally back. This is a good matchup to start the season off with. This game will be good to see if 2nd year quarterback Kenny Pickett to show what he can do against a very good defense.
The 49ers offense is a good matchup for our Defense to see how our run stopping ability has improved since last season.
The Steelers announced Saturday, they had signed three more players to their Practice Squad. The added former Pittsburgh running back Qadree Ollison and former Georgia Tech defensive back Tariq Carpenter. Former Chargers fullback Zander Horvath was also signed.
The Steelers announced their official roster cuts yesterday to get to the 53-man roster limit. There were a few surprise cuts like TE Zach Gentry, NT Breiden Fehoko, and rookie OLB David Perales.
