This is the last of the offensive players. I think if you need one you might need to take them early in the draft. There will be a few standout players chosen in the later rounds.
So, there is some good tackles in this year’s draft. It is always interesting to learn who in the league is looking to rebuild the trenches on both sides of the ball.
I am on my 3rd position rankings. Wide receivers are probably my favorite to watch and evaluate. So, I will probably change my mind a few times between now and the draft depending on how the combine and pro days progress.
I love ranking players each and every year. I have always liked offense, especially running backs and wide receivers. This is my first of the rankings. I will do another one after the combine and then again after pro days.
I really like the depth of this year’s running back class. With the league going with a more balance offense and running the ball more, we might get a few backs drafted with in the top 50 picks.
The senior bowl really highlighted the depth this year. Tulane’s Tyjae Spears really improved his draft stock this past week.
Let’s get into the rankings.
Bijan Robinson, Texas
Jahmry Gibbs, Alabama
Zach Charbonnett, UCLA
Israel Abanikanda, Pittsburgh
Zach Evans, Ole Miss
Devin Achane, Texas A&M
Kenny McIntosh, Georgia
Tyjae Spears, Tulane
Tank Bigsby, Auburn
Chase Brown, Illinois
A couple of names that were so close to making this list are Oklahoma’s Eric Gray and Texas Roschon Johnson.
This is starting to look like an ok draft class for quarterbacks. My Rankings have changed a little bit following the Senior Bowl. I have three players make my top ten that weren’t ranked before.
Let’s get into the rankings.
C.J. Stroud, Ohio State
Bryce Young, Alabama
Will Levis, Kentucky
Anthony Richardson, Florida
Hendon Hooker, Tennessee
Tanner McKee, Stanford
Jake Haener, Fresno State
Jarren Hall, BYU
Clayton Tune, Houston
Tyson Bagent, Shepherd
I was really impressed watching Tyson Bagent’s film this past week, and his film from the senior bowl. Stanford’s Tanner Mckee has moved up also. If the draft was this week, I could see him being an early pick in Day 2.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is finally here, this is where the draft begins. Today I’m going to be watching these players that have a good chance to be on the Steelers big board.
There are a few on this list that are going to be moving up several boards after today. Just a couple to keep an eye on running back Tyjae Spears (Tulane) and wide receiver Jayden Reed (Michigan State).
Let’s get into the players.
